IF THE ONLY PRAYER YOU EVER SAY IN YOUR LIFE IS THANK YOU, IT WILL BE ENOUGH
~ Meister Eckhart

Prayers for Peace, Passing the Peace, Singing "Let There Be Peace on Earth," are part of our worship always. We know that Easter people have faith and hope, and their job is to love the world. Especially in dark and dangerous times, let us be known as Christians by our love.
God promises in: 2 Chronicles 7:14: "if my people who are called by my name humble themselves, pray, seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land." Our country and our world certainly need prayers and we trust God in all things...even the things we don't understand!

Our Mission

John 14:27

OUR COMMON PRAYER

Almighty God, please hear our prayer for our country, our elected leaders and all our leaders. We confess that we are guilty of putting our worldly idols ahead of you. Please forgive us. We need your wisdom in trying to help us bring this country back to you so that once more we can be “One Nation under God,” upholding your light in the world. We pray for harmony among all people, including all leaders, and that we all make an effort to curb violence and seek equal justice for everyone. Help us to be worthy of this request and the privilege of coming to you in prayer. We ask all this in the name of your Son, who taught us to pray. . .
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name;
thy kingdom come; thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread;
and forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors;
and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
For thine is the kingdom,and the power, and the glory,
for ever and ever. Amen.

ANYTHING LARGE ENOUGH FOR A WISH TO LIGHT UPON, IS LARGE ENOUGH TO HANG A PRAYER UPON.
